:: 8th Annual Fulbright & Humphrey Alumni Conference - Announcement and Call for Papers


The Pakistan National Association of Fulbright Alumni (Pak-NAFA) and the Humphrey Alumni Association of Pakistan (HAAP) has announced to hold the 8th Annual Fulbright & Humphrey Alumni Conference in Islamabad on October 7-9, 2011.  The theme of the conference is “Giving back: the role of alumni in the socio-economic development of Pakistan”.
  
Pakistani Fulbright/Humphrey alumni and U.S. Fulbright alumni (who availed their grants in Pakistan) are invited to present papers, relevant to the theme of the conference.  If you are willing to do so, please e-mail a soft copy of the summary/abstract of your proposed presentation to Mr. Mazhar Awan (mazhar@usefpakistan.org).  Deadline for submission of the abstracts is August 26, 2011.  Also please share your thoughts and suggestions to have special sessions/activities other than the academic sessions during the conference.

Please bear in mind that most of the audience has no expertise in your field.  We especially want topics of interest to educated laymen.  Also, feel free to propose speaking on your experience in the U.S. or special achievements since returning.
